The Breining accreditation of the
Crescent program also serves as a pathway to higher
education opportunities for Crescent graduates. The
comprehensive CDC curriculum, which is also approved by the
State of California Bureau for Private Postsecondary
Education (BPPE), is acceptable by Breining for
matriculation (or transfer of college credit) into the
Breining Associate and Bachelor Degree programs.
This recognition of the CDC
program means that up to 33 quarter units of lower division
credit will be transferable into the Breining Associate of
Arts in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Studies or the Bachelor of
Arts in Addictive Disorders degree programs.
